Kampf um Norwegen was never shown in Germany, and nobody knows the reason why. Until 2006 the film was believed lost in the bombing of Berlin.The film describes the tactical part of the invasion of Norway, and how Germany fought against both Norwegian and British forces in a difficult and unknown terrain. Even though this is a propaganda film, it is only made by facts from the invasion, and has therefore got a tremendous historical value.
